My Dog Ate My Breakfast

It is 9 am and I am rushing to get breakfast, log on for work and set up homeschooling for the day...WAIT...did I shower yet? Did I even feed the dog? I need COFFEE! Let me check the phone first...what a funny GIF, just let me let respond...one sec...DANG IT! My dog ate my breakfast!

The current pandemic (which shall not be named) has certainly changed the way we live our lives. In a year that I promised to take more control of my life and go offline and experience "real" life, I am now living my life online! I work, homeschool, shop for groceries, consult with my doctor and socialise with friends and family online exclusively! However, I am extremely grateful. My family is safe, I still have a job and can pay my bills, and we can eat.

There are others experiencing this pandemic that cannot say the same. They have lost loved ones, lost jobs and benefits, lost their homes and struggle to put food on the table. If we are truly together at home, let's find a safe way to help others. Reach out (online) to your local charities and food banks and DONATE! People are hurting. People are hungry. We can help.

I need to make some more breakfast...
